Green Moon Apothecary's Boxes Celebrate The Sabbats
As I sit here sipping my cup of blended herbal tea, created for Green Moon Apothecary by The Forest Witch and admiring the limited edition collage artwork created specially for the Green Moon Ostara box by the mystical traveller, energy worker and artist @astralmoonbeam, I can’t help but feel a sense of gratitude.
It’s a beautiful, sunny spring day, I have the best job in the world - I get to think about and write about cannabis and how it is integrated into the lives of women - and I get to check out amazing products created by female entrepreneurs. Exploring the latest Green Moon Apothecary box is extra fun this time of year, when I’m celebrating Ostara, the spring equinox and a time of rebirth and the planting season.

cannabis-friendly witchy wellness
Green Moon Apothecary curates cannabis-friendly witchy wellness items and ships eight times a year, according to the Sabbats. If you’re a long time Her(B) Life reader, you may remember that we’ve told you about this company before. Obviously, we dig their vibe.
The items they curate are all inspired by the upcoming sabbat and the goal is to help customers integrate green witchcraft into daily spiritual practice.
So imagine how stoked I was to receive the Ostara box in the mail. When I opened it up I found the aforementioned herbal tea blends and artwork along with a set of black and pink Dynasty pre-rolled cones from Accoutrements, an egg shaped beeswax candle in the prettiest shade of deep purple, a lavender sea salt essential oil spray in the perfect size for my purse or for travel, a hemp wick wrapped crystal and a set of Palo Santo sticks AND (yes, there’s more) a hand strung gemstone bracelet created exclusively for this box by Midnight Raven Studios .
This Box is all about self care
I love that this box is all about taking care of my own mental, spiritual and physical well being. The teas are made with organic ingredients such as lemongrass, calendula and spearmint and lavender essential oil is known for its usefulness in sharpening the mind and combating insomnia. It is also said to encourage fertility and pure love and frankly, who couldn’t use a little more pure love in their life?
I was really excited about the hemp wick crystal. I love hemp wicks because butane is gross and the crystal that this wick is wrapped around is clear quartz which is said to help clear the mind of negativity to enhance higher spiritual receptiveness. It is considered the master of all healing crystals due to its ability to magnify or amplify healing vibrations of other crystals.
Palo Santo Sticks
The one item in the box I wasn’t familiar with were the Palo Santo sticks. According to the information provided in the box these sticks were harvested under government supervision by natives of the Peruvian jungle. The wood collected only included twigs and branches so no trees were harmed.
In researching Palo Santo I learned that this is an aspect of spirit ceremonies used by Amazonian shamans dating back to the Inca era. They are meant to be burned for spiritual purification and energy cleansing. The charcoal can be used for ritual smudging to encourage creativity, love, and good fortune.
