6 Instagram Accounts to Curb A Cannabis Induced Freak Out
You’ve probably heard the argument that the weed we’re consuming today is far stronger than what our parents were toking on in the Summer of Love. It’s true that many cannabis cultivars today are deliberately bred to be highly potent in cannabinoids like THC, so it’s certainly a plausible theory, but the truth is we really have no way of knowing exactly how much stronger the weed of today really is.
What we do know, is that our understanding of the plant has grown exponentially since the times of ‘reefer madness’. And while we’ve thoroughly debunked the idea that cannabis will fry your brain, make you crazy, and turn you into a murderous nymphomaniac, it is widely accepted that in large doses - read high levels of THC - cannabis has the potential to induce paranoia and anxiety, among other undesirable effects, from time to time.
It’s important to remember that cannabis is very safe for consumption and as the famous philosopher, Seneca, once said, “we are more frightened than hurt; and we suffer more from imagination than reality.” So whether you consider yourself a rookie or an enthusiast, here are six instagram accounts to help distract you, if and when your session takes a turn for the worse.
